Our Christmas Party Top Ten

10. Jon and the watch....A girls watch that only said "no" or was it "on".  We never figured that one out!

9. Rachel and Rachel the great name dilemma- it wasn't solved but we made progress (what do you think....are we stuck being Rachel F and Rachel D forever).

8. My Dad introduced us all to his latest invention "The Northwest Slug Remover" (aka giant wooden tweezers used to pick up and remove slugs).  We will all be checking Melissa's blog to see what great uses Owen and Nigel find for them and we are hoping to see them available for sale at your local retailer....someday!

7. Oreo Truffles....Need I say more.

6. The Jacobsens are sneaky...we never saw it coming....they seemed so thrilled with their gifts....(who wouldn't want a twilight movie and Santa soap?)...they fooled us all with their delight....sneaky....we found them in the couch cushion later....we never saw it coming!!!

5. Watching Cheryl open the autographed picture collage of Tyler- it was like a twelve year old girl with Justin Beiber!

4. Brendan's look of wonder and awe when he opened a collection of National Geographic on VHS...maybe his smile had more to do with the fact that he drew number 1 and wasn't stuck with them....tough to tell.

3. The homemade hats were the coveted gift of the night....they were well worth the absence of Melissa as she knitted in the car. 

2. The tiger print bra...the fact that I had it and somehow didn't have to keep it. 

1. Sam and Melissa's sweaters. Actually Sam's sweater!  Melissa's was ugly but Sam's stole the show!  We told him not to wear it to church tomorrow but he seemed pretty attached to it- so maybe we will be seeing more woolen suspenders!

The party was tons of fun and we look forward to many years of get togethers in the future.
