Colorado Visitors

We spent the last few days with Tyler's Mom and Dad and Brother Trenton.  We had lots of fun having them here.  Here are a few of the things we did together.

Played in the tree...of course!

We went to a Museum and had fun looking at the "old" things and playing in the kids area.

After the museum we enjoyed treats at the Soda Fountain.
Debbie and Alan celebrated their anniversary while they were here- Congrats to 31 years together!
We played outside whenever the weather was good enough too.
Spent an afternoon at the "Kid's Castle".  It didn't really look like a castle more like a giant play place.  The kids thought it was great!

We celebrated St. Patrick's day together.  We had a green breakfast, green treats and cornbeef and cabbage for dinner!

We played lots of games- some with the kids and some with just the adults when the kids were in bed.
Tyler had fun introducing his family to Kan Jam.
We went to an arcade - Trenton was the master at winning tickets!

We did a quick shopping trip.

As you can see we kept busy and had a great time.

It was great seeing everyone, we look forward to seeing everyone again.

Garret looses a tooth

Garret has had a loose tooth for a couple weeks.  Saturday night it was time for it to come out.  He really wanted it to come out.  He got a little nervous because it was his first tooth but he just kept wiggling and wiggling it.  He even had his Dad help with the wiggling.
Adele tried to wiggle hers too.  They aren't quite ready to come out!
Finally Tyler pulled it out!  Garret was so excited.
I can't believe he is big enough to loose his baby teeth.  That was his first little tooth he ever got.  I remember it making it's way in and now its out.
My family was visiting my aunts family when my first tooth was loose.  My aunts Mom made me this elf to put my teeth in.  So now the kids get to sleep with the elf when they loose their teeth.  It has a pocket on the front for the tooth to go in...but when Garret woke up there was a dollar coin!  He told me he kept checking all night and it was still a tooth but when he woke up it was a coin.
He is such a big boy!  All day today he has been smiling big so we can see his hole in his mouth.  He told me "it is just so fun to loose a tooth".

Pictures

Here are a few pictures of the kids.  We try to get outside whenever the weather is warm enough.  She loves the freedom o fthe outdoors.

This tree will be missed when we move!  Even Tyler was up in it for a while!

Adele At Almost 17 Months

We were late taking Adele to her 15 month appointment.  So she went to the doctor today at almost 17 months.  She weighed 25 pounds 12 ounces and was 32 inches long.  She is healthy and developing well.

We are really enjoying Adele at this age. She is still as much trouble as ever (climbing on things, sitting on peoples heads, talking way to loud in church etc).  She is also as cute as ever.  Some of our favorite things about Adele right now are-

Her words-  She has a lot of words.  She can repeat most anything and has lots of words she uses all the time.  Some of my favorites are Love You, night-night, Mommy, Daddy, yellow, color, purple, milk, more, water, hat, thank you, please and doggy. (she also says NO a lot- but that is not our favorite!)

Her hugs and kisses-  She loves giving hugs and kisses.  She always says "Mwah" when she gives kisses.

Her sibling love-  She tries to do EVERYTHING the boys do.

Her Daddy love-  When she hears the garage door open she runs to the door yelling "Daddy, Daddy".  She saw a meter reader man walk across our yard the other day and got so excited then she was so mad that he didn't come in.

Her schedule-  She is a great sleeper and napper and super predictable.

Books-  She finally enjoys books.  She brings them to me all the time.  She also brings them to Garret because he will look at pictures with her.

Backing up-  I LOVE the way she backs up to sit down.  Sometimes she starts halfway across the room and sometimes she misses her target- so cute.

Blanket Love-  I will have to get a picture of her and her blanket sometime.  She loves it.  She has to have the right one and she loves to snuggle with it.

Music-  She loves to dance and has some great moves.  She also loves leading music and bedtime songs.

Treats-  She has a sweet tooth and if she sees you or hears you with something yummy she comes running.

Nicknames-  she still has tons of nicknames and responds to them all. She is our little bitty, our deli, our jelly bean, our little love, our sweetheart, our trouble and our girl.

Everything-  We love everything about her. She is truly a blessing in our lives.

What do you think?

I must preface this by saying- I do not know what we are having and I am 100% fine with either gender and just because the surveys say.... does not mean that is my guess...I'll tell you if I am right with my guess after the fact.

Last night Tyler and I were looking at gender predictor things online-

According to the Chinese calender its a girl (and the one we looked at was right for our other children- although I thought that it was wrong before so maybe there are different versions *update looked at a different one and it was wrong for Spencer).

According to the old wives tale surveys we took (3 different ones it is a girl). I must just add that the questions they ask don't seem like they have anything to do with baby gender, seems pretty fishy to me but was fun.

Have any of these gender predictors been right for you?  Just curious?!!!
