Day 2 started with the traditional pancake breakfast.
Some time spent guessing jars.
Getting everyone ready for another fun filled game.
We attempted to take a photo of Grandma, Grandpa and all their grand kids. They are all in it...but some of them are not in it by choice.
The kids were then divided into groups as they rotated through stations. Tree climbing, zip line and tree swing.
Adele wasn't so sure about the zip line when it was her turn. But she ended up doing it and LOVING it.
Throughout the day there were three different groups of treasure hunters.
basketball and Pickleball.
Archery and Shop projects.
And some cooling off in the pool.
This year there was a "Family Challenge". Tyler and Garret represented our family. The challenge was to run from the house to the swing (swing twice), run to the zip line, haul a piece of firewood, traverse the tree climb, shoot an arrow in the target, touch the basketball hoop and run back up the hill. Everything is spread out. It was exhausting (and all I did was watch). Marc won! I am proud of my boys for finishing.
There were crafts.
Tug-o-war- The kids took this really seriously and wanted to keep doing it over and over. They beat me...It doesn't seem so hard, but trying to pull sixteen of them, when half of them have fallen over and are dead weight is a challenge!
The jar winners were announced.
We ate more yummy food and camp was closed. Grandma and Grandpa were all tuckered out.
It was a great, great, great, wonderful, awesome time. The best thing- when it was all said and done everyone loved each other! My kids are already counting down til next year!
